FIELD SERVICE ENGINEERS - Locations available in Texas

Position Description: Responsible for providing all service product support to customers.  Support is commonly provided at the customer facility and via phone and email for the applicator product lines and stand-alone printers.  Involves assignment to a designated geographical service area to maintain customer accounts and provide repairs, installations and training on equipment.  Overnight travel can occur 90% of the time.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Performs installation, operation, repair and modification of applicators, performs  preventative maintenance and documents performance and maintenance records on equipment. 
  • Support customers related to service, determine cause(s), troubleshoots and takes corrective action. 
  • Performs technical assistance to customers via email and phone.
  • Complete all processing of RMA returns to support individual usage of supporting parts and equipment. 
  • Maintain a parts, tool and test equipment inventory and company car.
  • Clearly and professionally interact with customers regarding status of the equipment installation. 
  • Determine tools and equipment required to perform scope of the job. 
  • Provides warranty, time and material and service contract repairs.

Requirements:

  • College / Technical Degree or equivalent technical support experience. 
  • 3+ years of service experience in the computer / industrial control field required.
  • Bench repair experience on computer printers, computers (PC) and industrial control is desirable.
  • Must have a valid driver's license with a good driving record and zero restrictions. 
  • Must be able to lift up to 75lbs

MAINTENANCE MECHANIC

Position Summary
: We are looking for a Maintenance Mechanic to join our team! You will be responsible for repairing a variety of production and building equipment.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Repair, troubleshoot, and maintain lathes and drill presses. Perform routine maintenance.
  • Perform various carpentry and related work involved in maintaining the manufacturing facility.
  • Disassemble, repair, replace or fabricate worn or defective parts using hand & power tools, machine tools, and welding operations.
  • Responsible for operating and moving various pieces of equipment.
  • Responsible for oiling and greasing machines following maintenance schedule.
  • May be trained and authorized to operate a variety of material handling equipment as required.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience using various hand tools and performing welding operations
  • Previous experience as a mechanic
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  • Deadline and detail-oriented
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

PACKAGING SOLUTION SPECIALIST - SEATTLE, WA

Position Summary
: The Packaging Solutions Specialist will generate opportunities and revenue to support corporate and sales management goals through the direct sale of company labeling and coding systems, and label products, within the assigned territory.

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales quotas.
  • Identify and develop new and grow existing labeling and equipment business opportunities in your assigned territory.
  • Develop a "territorial" business plan to maximize revenue generation potential and effective time/territory management.
  • Build and maintain a business plan with a sales pipeline by uncovering new opportunities, following up on leads and managing the existing customer base.
  • Maintain effective and detailed information on accounts, opportunities, contacts and leads.
  • Engage business unit experts to provide solutions that address unique customer requirements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field preferred.
  • Capital/equipment sales will be considered a strong asset for this position.
  • 3-5 years of experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • An aptitude for sales and strong business acumen.

BUSINESS SYSTEMS ANALYST DEVELOPER

Position Summary: They will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the cohesion between business systems and corporate operations. Project organization, planning, scheduling, and development at the behest of executive management. Able to perform analysis and provide business system recommendations, develop technical specifications for both purchased and internally systems, provide written documentation of systems being installed. Serve as a liaison with other departments, vendors and third party providers. Able to work with minimal supervision.

 Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensures the design, development, implementation and maintenance of new systems and enhancements to existing systems to meet user requirements. 
  • Manages projects to ensure quality and timeliness
  • Oversee feasibility studies, cost and time estimates for application systems projects.
  • Analyzes existing operations and recommends systems, designs or programming changes to better utilize resources.
  • Resolves issues working with cross-departmental teams; customer support, application developers, vendor IT contacts, network and database administrators. Solves moderately complex problem situations and participates in the identification of opportunities for improvement to processes, procedures or tools.
  • Responsibilities include systems and equipment technology assessment, system performance analysis, system integration planning, specification development, test and evaluation and system concept formulation/design/analysis.
  • Performs product design, bug verification, release testing, and beta support on applications.

 Tool Set Knowledge/Skills:

  • Maintenance, support, configuration and administration of the Oracle E-Business Suite (Cloud and on premise) including but limited within these functional areas: Finance, Procurement, Service, Sales, Projects, HCM, Order Management , Supply Chain and Manufacturing.
  • Proficiency with Oracle development tools:PL/SQL, SQL, Oracle Forms, Oracle reports, Workflow Builder, Discoverer, SOA, BPEL, and OA Framework.
  • Proficiency in non-Oracle tool sets: Microsoft Office, PHP, Symfony, Apache, Linux Shell scripting, EDI processing, HTML, CSS and JavaScript

Education, Experience & Ability Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Management, Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent.  
  • Eight years’ experience in development of complex business applications in manufacturing and or distribution organizations
  • Ability to understand, diagnose and resolve complex systems issues  and knowledge of application development life cycle methodology. 
  • Possesses excellent oral and written communication and customer service skills.

TALENT ACQUISITION SPECIALIST - PART TIME (Up to 28 hours/week)

Position Summary: As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will be actively seeking and connecting talent with career opportunities at Weber. This dynamic individual will be responsible for full cycle recruitment including the creation of employment advertisements, candidate management, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and provide overall support to managers during the on-boarding process.

  • Establish, maintain and report hiring statistics, development and retention metrics.
  • Stay abreast of recruiting industry trends and tools.

ASSEMBLER (2 Openings)

Position Summary: AM Monday thru Friday shift 6 AM – 3:30 PM. Diversified work in assembling a variety of products.  Includes frequent lifting or moving of average-weight materials and occasionally heavy-weight materials.  Uses hand and power tools.  Works from engineering blueprints and schematic drawings to assemble mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic parts assuring accurate alignment and proper operation.  Inputs transactions into an Oracle application.  May be trained and authorized to operate a variety of material handling equipment as required.

 Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists; gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
  • Positions parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements.
  • Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and subassemblies.
  • Verifies specifications by measuring completed component.
  • Resolves assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet specifications; notifying supervisor to obtain additional resources.
  • Keeps equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs.
  • Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies.
  • Conserves resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
  • Documents actions by completing production and quality forms.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
